Driven by Aston Martin Aramco Formula One\u00ae team driver and two-time Formula One World Champion\u00a0Fernando Alonso, Valhalla took to the iconic Monaco street circuit ahead of F1<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> practice, having recently completed final validation testing both on road and on track.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Valhalla has already captured the world\u2019s attention with its fusion of Formula 1<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> performance-driven technologies. Close collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk\/company\/13233214\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aston Martin Performance Technologies (AMPT)<\/a>\u2014the consulting arm of the <a href=\"https:\/\/autoscommunity.com\/2024\/09\/04\/aston-martins-aramco-formula-1team-driver-fernando-alonso-takes-delivery-of-his-new-aston-martin-valkyrie-in-monaco\/\">Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1\u00ae Team<\/a>\u2014on dynamics, aerodynamics, and materials has added\u00a0an extra dimension to the design and development of Valhalla.<\/p>\n<p>Having only appeared in public on static display until now, this was the supercar\u2019s first dynamic public performance, highlighting its cutting-edge hybrid powertrain, superior handling, unparalleled driving dynamics, and scintillating design.<\/p>\n<p>A monumental moment in <a href=\"https:\/\/autoscommunity.com\/2025\/05\/19\/aston-martin-racing-welcomes-23-new-drivers-to-its-academy-program\/\">Aston Martin<\/a>&#8216;s rich 112-year history, Valhalla is seen taking to the infamous street circuit through Monte Carlo in an AMR25 race car-inspired Podium Green with a Lime Green livery. The supercar\u2019s principal development driver, Fernando Alonso, is at the wheel, pushing the car to its limits around Casino Square and through the Tunnel.<\/p>\n<p>With a combination of 1079PS and 1100Nm via the hybrid powertrain, Valhalla is a car of many \u2018firsts\u2019: Aston Martin\u2019s first series production mid-engined supercar, first plug-in hybrid and first production vehicle with dedicated EV range capability.<\/p>\n<p>The marque\u2019s first model to use the bespoke 4.0-litre twin-turbo flat-plane crank V8 engine \u2013 the highest performing V8 engine ever fitted to an <a href=\"https:\/\/autoscommunity.com\/2025\/05\/15\/aston-martin-introduces-carplay-ultra-for-enhanced-in-car-connectivity\/\">Aston Martin<\/a> \u2013 and the first to use the marque\u2019s all-new 8-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), which incorporates an e-Motor and electronic rear differential (E-diff).
