Parker is among the first African Americans to be CEO of a <a href=\"https:\/\/autoscommunity.com\/2023\/08\/18\/hyundai-motor-wins-red-dot-design-awards-for-n-vision-74-seon-infotainment-design-system-and-hyundai-sans-ui-digital-typeface\/\">primary automotive company<\/a> in a regional market. Parker became CEO in August 2022 and reports to Jos\u00e9 Mu\u00f1oz, president and CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/autoscommunity.com\/2023\/09\/13\/new-report-highlights-hyundais-multi-billion-dollar-contribution-to-the-united-states-economy\/\">Hyundai Motor North America<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Launched in 2011, DRIVEN is a Real Times Media program that celebrates African-American achievement in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubairoute.com\/article\/automobili-lamborghini-announces-new-leadership-for-its-middle-east-africa-region\">automotive industry<\/a>. Unveiled each year during the <a href=\"https:\/\/naias.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Detroit Auto Show<\/a>, DRIVEN is a national event which draws professionals from around the country and attracts the &#8220;who&#8217;s who&#8221; of automotive executives and civic, business and community leaders who use the publication as an information and reference
