In the past, EV users didn\u2019t have access to a fast-charging network in Abu Dhabi.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Residents of <a href=\"https:\/\/autoscommunity.com\/2019\/05\/11\/team-abu-dhabis-rashid-al-tayer-launches-gp1-aquabike-title-challenge-on-the-back-of-powerboat-victory\/\">Abu Dhabi<\/a> can find the Pulse <a href=\"https:\/\/autoscommunity.com\/2021\/03\/22\/2022-gmc-hummer-ev-edition-1-to-come-with-gms-all-new-ultium-battery-architecture\/\">EV<\/a> charging stations at their community Mawaqif parking lots near parks, cafes, restaurants and key places of interest.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/autoscommunity.com\/2017\/01\/24\/rickie-fowler-with-the-mercedes-benz-g500-4x4-square-in-abu-dhabi\/\">Abu Dhabi<\/a> will be hosting the UN Climate Change Conference in 2023 and has put forward an ambitious target to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. This deployment is part of our ongoing mission to establish an extensive <a href=\"https:\/\/autoscommunity.com\/2022\/04\/03\/new-smart-1-ev-suv-revealed\/\">EV<\/a> charging network across critical locations around the UAE,\u201d said Pulse Board Member during the inauguration of the company\u2019s first public charging station.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The inauguration was attended by HE Saeed Mohamed AlSuwaidi, managing director of <a href=\"https:\/\/autoscommunity.com\/2016\/10\/28\/abu-dhabi-revs-up-for-worlds-first-audi-sport-center\/\">Abu Dhabi<\/a> Distribution Company; HE Mr Abdullah Al Marzouqi, director-general of the Integrated Transport Center; Abdelaziz AL Shamsi, Customer Service Executive Director of Abu Dhabi Distribution Company, and Ramiz Alaileh, director of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubairoute.com\/article\/minister-of-climate-change-and-environment-of-the-uae-visits-the-sustainable-city\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sustainability<\/a> and energy efficiency at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.doe.gov.ae\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Department of Energy Abu Dhabi<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pulse aims to deploy 100 EV <a href=\"https:\/\/autoscommunity.com\/2021\/10\/05\/abb-launches-the-worlds-fastest-electric-car-charger\/\">charging points<\/a> in the run-up to the conference and has, to date, helped power more than 50,000 clean kilometres, amounting to a reduction of 12 tonnes of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubairoute.com\/article\/schneider-electric-partners-with-france-pavilion-at-expo-2020-dubai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">carbon emissions<\/a>. The EV\u00a0charging station has witnessed a total energy consumption of 8.3 MW.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><em>Remarking on the company\u2019s launch of its first quick-charging stations, Mohammed Rashid Al Suwaidi, partner and board member at Pulse, said: \u201cWe strongly believe that <a href=\"https:\/\/autoscommunity.com\/2021\/03\/09\/gmc-tests-hummer-ev-in-sub-zero-conditions\/\">electrification<\/a> and smart mobility represent the future of transport.
