Geely’s All-New Emgrand X7 Sport SUV Launches in the UAE

Available across the UAE, exclusively with Union Motors, The Emgrand X7 Sport embodies a design language inspired by Peter Horbury and his global Geely design team based in California, Barcelona and Shanghai.  Living up to its ‘Sports’ tag, the Emgrand X7 Sport has the perfect silhouette to compliment one of the most exquisite interiors.  The cabin is of extremely high quality and seats are spacious and comfortable, letting passengers enjoy a great view through the large panoramic sunroof.

Possibly among the best SUVs in its segment, the Emgrand X7 has a flat-bottom steering wheel, is equipped with a 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder, giving strong torque throughout the range.

The smooth-shifting transmission and the soft-sprung suspension help the X7 Sport glide over bumps and road irregularities with great composure. Extensive work by MIRA – the global vehicle engineering solutions expert – has helped keep Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) level well below the acceptable range.

The MacPherson suspension upfront and the multi-link independent setup at the rear do a good job of maintaining traction on the tarmac. The all-wheel drive system helps the Emgrand X7 swing around corners quickly while maintaining composure around high-speed sweepers.

The team of highly influential auto-journalists explored its relentless performance and uncompromised comfort while they drove down an exciting road from the shorelines of Ajman through the deserts of Muharhab to the mountains of Fujairah. The route provided a fascinating test of the vehicle’s claims and the Emgrand X7 Sports proved its worthiness without any doubts.
